1. Firework by Katy Perry.
Yeah, this came on the radio as I was driving in to Austin, today… I cranked the volume all the way up and jammed and cried all the way through (it was a good cry). Yes, I’m fully aware that this is cheesy and I am dorking out on you.
2. Jessica‘s Affirmations-
THIS IS ME. and it also reminds me of Jacquie Lloyd Smith of Lloyd Smith Solutions. Who doesn’t love Jessica…or Jacquie…for that matter. 🙂
3. The words say it all. See things differently.
From Wikipedia: “Think Different” is an advertising slogan created for Apple Computer in 1997 by the Los Angeles office of advertising agency TBWAChiatDay[1]. It was used in a television commercial, several print advertisements and a number of TV promos for Apple products.
Significantly shortened versions of the text were used in two television commercials, known as “Crazy Ones“, directed by Chiat/Day‘s Jennifer Golub who also shared the art director credit with Jessica Schulman and Yvonne Smith. The familiar voiceover was by Richard Dreyfuss.
4. And this one…so much truth. Wear Sunscreen.
From Wikipedia: Wear Sunscreen or the Sunscreen are the common names of an essay titled “Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young” written by Mary Schmich and published in the Chicago Tribune as a column in 1997, but often erroneously attributed to a commencement speech by author Kurt Vonnegut. Both its subject and tone are similar to the 1927 poem “Desiderata“. The most popular and well-known form of the essay is the successful music single “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)“, released in 1998, by Baz Luhrmann.
How can one not feel good after those 4 videos…I know I do.
