I’m writing a book. It’s working title is:
LET LOVE WIN: Choosing Love Over Fear In Everyday Life
Everyday life includes big moments and small. From time to time I’ll be writing more about it here on my blog. Today there are big and small tender moments that are reminding me why I am writing this book.
Today I want to share how this message is showing up in my life, and in my facebook feed:

This is how the morning started:
It is an important and historic day. Today is the beginning of conversations in the Supreme Court about Marriage Equality.
From the HRC website:
“The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on two historic cases for marriage equality. Hollingsworth v. Perry, the challenge to California’s Proposition 8, will be argued March 26. The case challenging the Defense of Marriage Act, Windsor v. United States, is scheduled March 27.

I stand with Marianne Williamson in this group prayer:
I am a proud straight ally of this movement: Let Love Win.

Then I saw this post from my sister, Courtney Crow Wyrtzen, who is a talented fiction writer, and who has a daughter with Rett-Syndrome and she writes about that here.
Yes, tears, and snot, and memories and hope, and fear, and knowing that our family, especially my sister and her husband and children live that life EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I watch Courtney LET LOVE WIN moment by moment.
BC, my niece, who is now 11, is one of the greatest teachers~ her smile continually reminds me to choose to LET LOVE WIN.

Then my Sister-In-Law posted this:
It wasn’t the flash mob that got me, but it was hearing Beethoven’s Ode to Joy. It reached in and touched my heart. It tore down a protective wall and more tears flowed.
We need joy. ODE TO JOY – is synonymous with LET LOVE WIN

So I sat with the tears, and then posted this:

Allow the walls to come down.
It will shake you to your core, and yet, to keep the walls up is to die.
Open you heart, and make the choice to Let Love Win.
