It is Wonder ★ Woman ★ Wednesday–
The first thing that captured my attention was her Facebook profile pic! The essence– the beautiful freedom -the originality. I thought that pic could be me, should be me– except it isn’t. It is inspiration agent and professional photographer Kristen B. Roedner. The beads, the KISS YOUR LIFE, the big lime green flower, and the Flying Pig– the photo is even surrounded by doodles– THIS IMAGE CAPTURED my attention and so I dug deeper and I found Faux-Toes and this blog about the definition of a flying pig. <– take time to read her post!
She says, “my mission is to remind people to look up with hope. That flying pigs are all around us, all the time.”
What are the impossibilities that hold you back? Are you noticing the impossibilities? What could happen in your life if you started noticing the amazing FLYING PIGS all around you. Kristen has made these her icon– she even has a pink flying pig jeep!
A mom, a wife, a small business owner, a cowboy boot-wearer, a star-dust-sprinkler… and a woman who spreads WONDER by noticing the flying pigs and celebrating them. She inspired me to doodle my very own flying pig– and she has ispired me to stand even taller in my Kooky truth and allow that to shine in my professional image. She reminds me to CELEBRATE & SHARE AUTHENTICITY. This is why Kristen is the WONDER WOMAN of the week.
I cant wait to schedule a photo session with her in April. I’ve been feeling the re-branding of this site, and my presence in the world to be more transparent, more authentic and more me. I can tell Kristen will be able to capture that for me.
You can find Kristen and Faux Toes here on FBand on her website. She also has a totally beauty-full set of boards at Pinterest.
If you find Kristen B Roedner as inspiring as I do, please like and share this post…share the WONDER of this WOMAN with the world!
Allison, I am completely honored and grateful to be recognized at your Wednesday Woman of Wonder. About a year ago, my cousin suggested I follow you. It has been a fun ride and I can’t wait see what’s around the next corner with you! I’m looking forward to capturing your spirit. 🙂 Thanks for sharing my story. You are amazing! best wishes!!!
Kristen is all that and more – a true wonder woman, an inspiration and a gift to everyone who has the fortune of knowing her!
Kristen…I appreciate the magic you share with the world. We have lots of connections in common from Baylor…and Kannakuk (maybe)… How have we not met yet?
And Ashley….I agree!!!
Yes, I saw the fun Baylor people. I never was a Kanakukker, but I liked those that did. I’m a Camp Longhorn Girl myself. 🙂 I look forward to knowing you IRL. 🙂 Cheers! And THANK YOU, ASHLEY!!
