I see you. You are brilliant, skilled, competent, and excelling at everything you do – and your mind rarely slows down. You are a recovering over-achiever and often find yourself over-functioning. You are probably also a recovering people-pleaser.
For years, this high-performance thing has served you. It helped you achieve and create everything: work, business, family… but now, combined with the unique stresses of our culture, it is starting to hurt your insides.
Your being feels dehydrated, and your creativity has become performative instead of generative. It is exhausting you, and your brain tells you to suck it up and get over it. Your brain tells you this is an either/or situation, and I’m here to help you cultivate a different way of BEING with yourself in life and work that doesn’t require you to become a monk and move to Bali, leaving everything behind.
I’ve been a high-performance sales coach and a tactical training coach. From 20+ years of coaching and more than 35 years of leadership, I’ve learned that there is a tender spot inside that even the strongest people neglect out of survival. I’ve seen that there becomes a “tipping point” where we simply can’t press it all down anymore, and yet we don’t want to fall completely apart.
My coaching these days is a nonviolent, Internal Family Systems/IFS Coaching approach that helps you be so ‘effing tender with yourself without losing your creative and achievement spark. In the past, compassion meant weakness, but now your soul thirsts for more calm and care. I can help you. I can help you tend to your inner world, your emotions, and your business with care.
My specialty is being a Self-Leadership (as in how to lead all the parts of you), Coach and Connected Leadership Facilitator in the context of being a professional or small business owner. Most of my clients are experienced, service-based business owners or entrepreneurs. My clients are usually head-led, super smart, and high achievers – but the emotional grind and mental twisting and turning are starting to cause suffering. I also work with a few senior-level executives and their teams in private coaching arrangements. I can hold your heart and your mind and help you learn to lead all parts of you in a way that leaves your soul nourished. And uniquely, I also have the strategy, visioning, and implementation skills you or your team might need.
Currently, I am working in deep partnerships with only 1:1 clients in year-long agreements. My roster is limited as care and time spent working with clients go beyond just the time spent in sessions.
At times, I run a small cohort of professionals and executives who choose annual agreements via small group work in the “Leadership Skills Circle.” Be sure you are subscribed to my newsletter to be notified when the next circle opens up.

As I’m pretty unfiltered, I want to share a bit more about myself and let you know what you are getting into here, both professionally and some values on which I take a firm stand:
I am working to be anti-racist. I believe Black Lives Matter, and I believe QAnon is a cult and that the events of Jan 6 were an insurrection. I believe that unity can come, but not without accountability and justice. I believe that science is real. I am pro-choice. I do often bring up civil and political topics because politics and our community responsibility are a part of life, and I am a life coach.
I am strategic, intellectual, emotional, logistic, and sensitive. I am part coach and part teacher, and I love sharing ideas and concepts that light me up. I can SEE my clients – I can see their outer and strategic potential and the inner that has to shift to allow the outer strategy to work.
I am rarely concise. I believe in attribution and research – the scientific and intellectual kind (not YouTube). I am insatiably curious. After 20+ years, I have a Mary Poppins bag of leadership, coaching, and strategic skills that I can precisely pull from in the service of my clients. My one rule in my communities is NO asshole behaviors…yes we are all assholes from time to time, just not to one another. Not all of my clients believe the same things as me. But the beliefs they have DO NOT HARM others.
I do not promise a bullet-point-bullshit list of deliverables, systems, or funnels…I am a compassionate and present-process person, and when you do and practice the work, it will deliver results. I’m known to celebrate your daily boring actions more than your temporary-big-dopamine-hit wins.
I do promise to hold space to help you get to know and trust yourself and your intuition. You are the guru. I will compassionately lead you to YOUR truth – in your mind and in your body. I’ll help you combine that with business strategy and learning skills so that you can create soul-full, successful, authentic work in the world. You will never have to abandon yourself again as we develop and build your Self-leadership and Self-trust.
I may either horrify you with my crassness or make you laugh when you need it most.
- I’m an introvert who thrives with space, alone time, and reflection time. I do love being with the right groups of people, and I shine on stage in front of thousands.
- I am a high ID on the DISC and an INFJ with equal INFP.
- I’m also neurodivergent and was diagnosed with lifelong ADHD and ASD1 as an adult. I’m learning about how neurodivergence shows up in high-masking women and the gifts and often invisible struggles people with ADHD have in the workplace and as late-diagnosed adults.
- My Gallup Strengths are: Input | Strategic | Intellection | Activator | Connectedness
I have typos in almost everything to weed out people that it bothers THAT much. I am a visionary, strategist, and deep work coach. I hire help for the stuff I’m not good at.
My work with clients involves some breathwork, connecting our heads to our bodies (somatics), lots of stories and conversations, some silence, journaling, lots of compassionate parts work, explorations of our inner mental and emotional teams, profound but simple questions, a splash of bespoke strategy, and practical steps for moving forward. You may also get tips on my favorite skincare products or tech tools.
My clients also benefit from my vast business, sales, and profitable coaching practice experience.
I can’t help but slip into consulting and teaching at times. I’ve been teaching and coaching in one form or another since the early-90s. I’ve been coaching full-time as a professional since February 2007. I have a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction focusing on educational psychology. I am a Certified Visual Coach, Expressive Arts Facilitator, (and a die-hard Oxford Comma user). I’m also a founding member of an extraordinary community of leaders called 4PC. I am L1 trained in Internal Family Systems, Internal Family Systems Coaching, and Compassionate Inquiry.
I live in the woods, near a lake, outside of my lifelong hometown, Austin, TX, with my husband of 16 years and my rescued dog, Clementine. I am officially a backyard bird-watcher and cultivator of a large wildflower garden, and I am taking therapeutic horsemanship & riding lessons.
