My Words are a Lamp and a Light

Call me blasphemous. I lifted this photo from my friend and fellow writer Angie Mattson Stegall. When I first saw it, my heart opened, and I gasped with recognition.
Scripture, in the traditional sense, only ever oppressed me, but writing every single day, exploring the words in my own being and putting them on paper is what set me free.
