Last week a friend shared a post with over 150 images of amazing beautiful older women. A few of the images felt familiar to my soul- as if they were versions of my FUTURE SELF. So I’m going to do a few FUTURE SELF FRIDAY posts. Here is the first.
My future self is the one who gives me the most true wisdom. When I tap in and feel the woman I am years ahead- I know that everything on this journey is perfect. I know that I’m figuring it all out as best I can and she reminds me tenderness and self compassion is most healing and loving balm. She reminds me that I am not concerned with jealousy, comparison, striving, or achieving. She tells me to feel in my body more than think in my head. She holds my heart open and reminds me with a gentle whisper to keep my heart open and love what is.
Thank you future self for reminding me TODAY who IAM. ❤
