I’m so grateful to catch part of this scope. After experiencing multiple heavy losses in my life I had such a paradigm shift listening to you Alli! You gave words to much of what I’ve needed during grief. Was called to create this piece after watching. Peace and blessings to you dear heart.
Sister!! I’ve listened to this twice already. You are gold.
So many thoughts…
1) God bless you.
2) Your Dad…God bless him for “God bless them”
3) I love “There’s me and my shit.”
4) I love that the deck was chewed by foster puppies. I remember a long, long time ago I was watching Oprah and Nate Berkus was giving Oprah a tour of his apartment. He had several pieces of furniture his dogs chewed, and he specifically pointed out he loved it because when that dog’s spirit left his house, the gift of its chewing would remain.
5) To everyone suffering…You are not alone. You are surrounded by love. I’m praying for you. I love you.
6) Ahhhh, universe. Your timing. As you pointed out, the turquoise beads in the rosary, and did you notice the color of the Divine Mother’s robe? Turquoise.
7) Thank you for witnessing my pain this week.
8) I believe that in order for someone hold space for and witness another’s pain, she or he must have walked through pain. The folks that toss out an “everything has a purpose” is throwing something out they believe will be comforting and running…because they aren’t comfortable sitting with another’s pain. You have to have tasted life’s shit burgers in order to sit down and dine on one with someone else who has just been served.
9) I. LOVE. YOU.
Love received and sent back multiplied. It was an honor to pray with my new rosary… I did some hail mary’s and a few our fathers and lots of god blessing specific names!
❤️❤️❤️You and I pray the rosary the same way. It’s something to hold and something to ground me while I meditate or pray (structured prayers or my own).
Yes, I try to make sense too. My friend Laura’s passing has really shown me there is no sense to be made.
The biggest heart, the most wonderful, life loving 38 yr old gets stomach cancer? Nonsensical.
Hey ?❤️
?❤️
Good morning!!
Good morning all!
??
It feels so powerless to watch my husband grieve his fathers passing.
Wise words woman! Agree completely. Just be there for them.
It’s so sad.
Oh no!!!! Heartbreaking
I except you in your rawest, most vulnerable form.
I agree. They need to know they aren’t alone because it feels so alone to have lost someone.
No!!!!
I’m so sorry Susan. So sorry.
